Scanning points and walk-in time

Always ensure sufficient scanning points to ensure that check-in is as smooth as possible. Here are some examples that you can use:

On-site registration time = Number of actions x second per action x number of participants.

Example 1:
2 actions of 5 seconds with 500 participants
2 x 5 x 500 = 5000s (83 minutes / 1.3 hours)

Example 2:
5 actions of 5 seconds with 500 participants
5 x 5 x 500 = 5000s (208 minutes / 1.3 hours)

Number of scan points = Total time operations: available entry time

Example 1:
83 minutes: 30 minutes walk-in time
83 : 30 = 2.7 = 3 scan points

Example 2:
208 minutes: 30 minutes walk-in time
208 : 30 = 6.9 = 7 scan points

Tip: for events with more than 150 visitors or events where visitors can also register on location, you can set up an extra service desk. Visitors who cannot find their e-ticket, have a wrong ticket or are not registered can go to this service desk. This ensures a good flow of visitors at the entrance.
