Connect your Mollie account to Momice

Learn how to connect your Mollie account to Momice to sell paid tickets. This article explains how to set up the connection, what the different connection statuses mean, and how to troubleshoot common connection issues.

To sell paid tickets, you first need to connect a Mollie account to Momice. Once connected, payments are processed through your own Mollie account, and ticket revenue is paid directly to you.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • a verified Mollie account.

Are you currently using Adyen?

Are you currently using Adyen for paid tickets? Keep in mind that each Momice account can have only one active payment provider.

You can move from Adyen to Mollie at any time, even if you currently have an active paid event. You do not need to wait until the event or ticket sales have ended.

Once you connect Mollie, Mollie becomes the active payment provider for your entire Momice account. From that point on, all new ticket payments will be processed through Mollie. This also applies to events where ticket sales originally started through Adyen.

Payments made through Adyen before the move will remain with Adyen. This also applies to refunds for tickets that were previously paid for through Adyen.

Please note: Once you move from Adyen to Mollie, you cannot switch back to Adyen.

What happens after moving to Mollie?

  • You cannot choose a different payment provider for each event. The setting applies to your entire Momice account.

  • Active paid events that were using Adyen will use Mollie for all new payments after the move.

  • Existing payments made through Adyen will continue to be handled through Adyen.

  • Refunds for tickets previously paid for through Adyen will also be processed through Adyen.

  • All new ticket payments made after connecting Mollie will automatically be processed through Mollie.

  • Moving to Mollie cannot be reversed.

Tip: Keep in mind that after moving to Mollie, a single event may contain payments processed through both Adyen and Mollie. Payments made before the move remain with Adyen, while new payments are processed through Mollie.
