Event checklist per module

Useful checklist to make sure everything is in place.

Use this checklist to set up your event in Momice step by step. For each part, you will find links to related articles, pages, and webinars. This makes it easy to check whether everything is ready before you publish.

Tip: Only complete this checklist after watching the online training videos and reading the Help Center articles. This helps prevent you from missing any settings.

Event checklist

1. Settings

Basic

First, check the basic settings of your event.

  • Event name (internal)

  • Event date

  • Event site URL

  • Event type

  • Language selection and event name (invitees)

  • Open registration or personal registration

  • Close registration based on a maximum number of registrations or on a specific date

Then, check the additional settings.

2. Website module

Design

Check whether the design of your event website is set up correctly.

  • Text color is clearly visible on the page background and content block backgrounds

  • Logo added to the top bar

  • Event website checked on smartphone

  • Website icon added

  • Date and links in the footer checked

Pages

Homepage

Check the homepage on both desktop and mobile.

  • Buttons and hyperlinks work

  • Date and time of the countdown clock are correct

  • Image or header widget is displayed correctly

  • QR code checked

Check the content of the standard pages.

  • Registration questions added and checked

  • Program page completed

  • For online events: livestream set up

  • Location page and Google view checked

  • Video page checked

Only use these sections if they are relevant to your event.

Settings

Finally, check the website settings.

  • Password protection

  • Marketing features

  • QR code

3. Mail module

Drafts and registration confirmations

Check all emails before sending them.

  • Sender and reply-to address

  • Subject line is under 40 characters

  • Label added

  • Unsubscribe link is present and tested

  • Test email sent

  • Salutation is correct

  • Imported fields checked

  • Buttons and hyperlinks work

  • Calendar link works

  • E-ticket turned on or off

  • Number of invitees checked

  • Email is spam-proof

  • Pay later link added (optional)

Admission tickets

Check the basic settings for each admission ticket.

  • Admission ticket title

  • Description

  • Registration available within the correct period

  • Time slot for scanning tickets set

  • Valid on date set (optional)

Before you publish

Go through all modules one more time before your event goes live. Pay special attention to:

  • the registration settings

  • the event website on mobile

  • the emails and links

  • the ticket settings

  • the check-in preparation

Please note: Do not forget to activate your event website using the “Activate event” button.
