Do you offer the same workshop multiple times, for example once in the morning and once in the afternoon? Each workshop session is treated as a separate workshop.
Registrations for these sessions are therefore not automatically added together.
Tip: Give each workshop session a clear name, for example Workshop B – Morning and Workshop B – Afternoon. This makes it easier to distinguish between the different sessions.
Prevent participants from choosing the same workshop again
Can participants choose multiple workshops? You can use a dependency question to prevent someone from selecting the same workshop session again in a follow-up question.
For example, participants choose their first workshop in question 1 and a second workshop in question 2.
Step 1. Create the main question
Create the main question as question 1 and add all available workshop sessions as answer options.
Step 2. Create the follow-up question
Next, create question 2.
Only add the workshop options that may still be selected. Make sure the same workshop session is not available again if it was already selected in question 1.
Step 3. Set up the dependency
Open the main question using the pencil icon.
Go to the "Dependency" tab.
For each answer option, specify when the participant should continue to question 2.
Configure this for all answer options where the follow-up question should apply.
This lets you control which follow-up question a participant sees and helps prevent the same workshop from being selected twice.
View the total number of registrations
Want to see how many participants registered for the different workshop sessions?
Go to the Registration Module.
Open "Analytics".
Here you can see registrations per registration question, including the registration totals.
This makes it easy to view the number of registrations for each workshop session and calculate the total.
