Sending test mails

Test your test emails several times before sending the invitation to your invitees

Updated this week

Before sending your email, it is of great importance that you test it. You can do so by sending a test email to yourself or a colleague. You can send as many test emails as you want, until you’re completely happy with the result. Check the spelling, salutation and all links included in the email. Walk through all steps in the registration process, to see if the procedure is clear.

Momice will select a random person to import in the salutation for the test email. In case you want to test the email using a specific name, you can manually select a contact, before clicking ‘Test and send’. You can include a personal message to the recipient of the test email, this will be shown (in red) at the top of the email.

The appearance of the email may vary depending on the email the client uses. This is something beyond the control of both Momice and yourself. Examples include:

  • A white border along the sides of the image.

  • Hyperlinks appearing in different colors, fonts, or font sizes.

  • A button displayed as a long website link.

  • A rounded button appears with a single line above and below the text.

TIP: Ask the invitee to mark Momice as a trusted sender in their inbox. Read more here. Resend the email to ensure the button is displayed correctly.
