Tips on how to process your invitees' personal data

Updated over a week ago

Momice will help you process your personal data in a correct manner. Correct means: storing data safely - for the shortest possible time. However, you too have a responsibility in processing the data of your contacts! These are our guidelines:

Importing lists

Only import (Excel) lists with data that's obtained in a legal way. All contacts in your list must opt-in for communication from your side.

Mandatory unsubscribe link

In all emails, an automatic unsubscribe link is included. Make sure that your contact can unsubscribe for the event (and related emails) at all time!

Registration data

In the registration form, only ask for event-related (personal) data such as name, email, company, job titles, dietary requirements and workshops. The Momice tool is not intended for processing special categories of personal data, such as passport and payment data and social security number. Please keep that in mind!

Processing and storing data

All Momice event websites are SSL certified. This means all data is encrypted. After the event, the personal data will be stored for a maximum of 1 month, after which they are anonymized automatically. Our servers are located in Germany (Frankfurt) and all data is processed according to EU guidelines.

Security

We do our utmost to keep your data as safe as possible. Do you have questions about our security policy? Please contact us - we are happy to inform you!
