Use separate login codes and scan points when scanning QR codes.

It is possible to create multiple scan points to, for example, check in attendees at multiple locations simultaneously or at sub-sessions. In addition, you can link a specific login code to a scan point so that that person can scan directly from that check-in point. Scan points without linked code are available to everyone in the check-in app.

How it works

  1. Open the Momice Check-in app on the desired smartphone or tablet.

  2. Login using the login code, which can be found in the Momice tool: Tickets > Check-in > Activate Check-in app.

  3. Click on the 'Add' button under Scan Points. Give the scan point a clear name, such as: Livestream: (Workshop) A. Then, click the 'Add' button to create the scan point.

  4. Click on the pencil icon next to the login code. Select the preferred scan point to link your login code with. Make sure the checkbox for 'Active' is enabled.

  5. You have the option to disable 'Manual search by name active'. This setting allows you to configure, for each login code, whether the "search by name" function should be available. This can be particularly important for lead scanning. For example, you can configure the login codes provided to users/hosts so that they can only scan QR codes and cannot search for names.

  6. You can now create multiple login codes by clicking 'Add Login Code.' Repeat the steps above to link the scan point.

Please note: You can use up to 3 scan points free of charge. Contact Momice to set up additional scan points.

TIP: Link each login code to a specific scan point. This way, you can send the correct login code to the user or host, ensuring they have access to the designated scan point.
