Use this guide to upload images for the website and mail module in the correct format. This helps prevent quality loss, incorrect cropping, and inconsistent display on desktop and mobile.
General guidelines
Upload JPEG or PNG files only.
The maximum file size is 3 MB per image.
Always leave enough space around important visual elements.
Place key parts of a mobile image as much as possible in the center.
Please note: if you upload images, always use different file names.

Logo
Preferably use a full-width logo in the following format:
Recommended size: 640 x 150 pixels
Minimum: 100 x 100 pixels
Maximum: 3 MB
File type: JPEG or PNG
Mobile
Website icon
This icon is used for mobile and as a favicon.
Recommended size: 128 x 128 pixels
Maximum: 3 MB
File type: JPEG or PNG
Custom start menu: background image
On smartphones, you can display a background image behind the menu. The more transparent the menu is, the more visible the background becomes.
Use at least:
Width: 375 pixels
Height: 667 pixels
Please note:
Smartphone sizes vary. As a result, an image may be scaled or cropped differently on each device.
If you want important parts to remain visible on as many smartphones as possible, always place them in the center of the image. Never place them near the edges.
Custom start menu: logo or image
This image is displayed horizontally centered in the mobile start menu.
You can choose from 5 positions:
No logo, menu starts directly at the top
Small logo
Medium logo
Large logo, menu starts about halfway down the screen
Fully filled
Use the following for this element:
Minimum size: 640 x 150 pixels
Maximum: 3 MB
Please note: the background image is placed across the entire smartphone screen. With the logo or image, you only determine which part above the menu is visible.

Sponsors
Do you want to display multiple sponsor logos next to each other? Upload them in the same format. Then choose on the website whether you want to show them in large, medium, or small size. This keeps all logos visually consistent.

Photo for guest list, speakers, and contact
Minimum size: 320 x 320 pixels
Location
Minimum size: 320 x 320 pixels
Maximum width: 640 pixels
Submenu
Minimum size: 480 x 240 pixels
Maximum width: 730 pixels
Wider images are automatically resized to 730 pixels
There is no maximum height
Please note: for all images in this section, the maximum file size is 3 MB.
Homepage
Header widget
The header widget uses a full-width background image with a fixed height. You can place extra elements on it, such as:
Title
Subtitle
Call-to-action button
Logo
On mobile, the sides of the background are partially cropped. Only the center remains clearly visible.
Tip: do not place important information in the background image. Instead, place it in the title or in the logo/image within the content. These elements scale better on mobile.
Image widget
The image widget is displayed full-width on desktop or at text column width. On mobile, the full image scales down proportionally so everything remains visible.
Tip: if you want an image to always remain fully visible, use the Image widget instead of the Header widget.
Background images for homepage widgets
Use at least the following for background images:
Minimum width: 1920 pixels
Full-width height: 590 pixels
There is no fixed minimum height. The final display depends on the amount of content in the widget.

Use the following for header and footer images:
Size: 600 x 300 pixels
Maximum: 3 MB
Image widget
Width: 600 pixels
Height: variable, depending on your preference
Maximum: 3 MB
