Unsubscribe page for your event

Read how the unsubscribe link/button works in this article

It is mandatory to give every invitee the option to unsubscribe from an event. When someone unsubscribes, they will also be removed from future mailings for that event.

If an invitee clicks the unsubscribe link or button, they will be taken to the event website’s unsubscribe page. There, they can provide a reason for unsubscribing.

What happens after someone unsubscribes?

After unsubscribing:

  • the invitee is taken to the event website’s unsubscribe page

  • the invitee can enter a reason for unsubscribing

  • the invitee will no longer receive mailings for this event

You can find the submitted unsubscribe reasons in the Registration Module.

Exporting unsubscribe reasons

  1. Go to the Registration Module.

  2. Open the “Unsubscribed” tab.

  3. Export the overview.

Automatic email after unsubscribing

No automatic email is sent when someone unsubscribes. This cannot be configured.

After unsubscribing, the invitee will see an unsubscribe message on the unsubscribe page.
