An e-ticket gives participants access to your event. The e-ticket includes a unique, personal QR code that you can scan at the entrance to check in attendees. Read more here about checking in visitors at the event.
The e-ticket is automatically included with the registration confirmation, unless you have disabled this option.
What is an e-ticket?
An e-ticket is a personalized admission ticket for your event. Each participant receives their own QR code. As the organizer, you scan this code upon arrival to check in the participant quickly and easily.
When does a participant receive an e-ticket?
The participant automatically receives the e-ticket by email after registering, together with the registration confirmation.
Turning the e-ticket on or off
You manage the e-ticket through the Mail Module.
How to turn the e-ticket on or off
Go to the Mail Module.
Go to your Registration confirmation.
Scroll down to E-ticket.
Choose "Yes" to enable the e-ticket or "No" to disable it.
E-ticket layout
The e-ticket is designed so it can be folded into a name badge. You can customize the content and design yourself, such as:
text
logos
additional attendee information
You can create the e-ticket through Ticket Module > E-ticket. Read more here about designing your e-ticket.
Resending the e-ticket
Would you like to share the e-ticket again, for example as a reminder? There are three ways to do that.
Option 1: via the Personal page
You can add a button in an email that links to the Personal page. There, the invitee can find:
completed registration details.
a button to view and download the e-ticket.
their personal QR code for check-in.
an overview of guests, including personal QR codes.
an invoice (optional)
a button to cancel their registration for the event.
How to add the Personal page to your email
Go to the Mail Module.
Open the draft using the pencil icon.
Scroll down and click "Add widget".
Choose "Button".
Configure the button as follows:
Link type: Link to event element
Select event page: Personal page link
Tip: Make sure the e-ticket has been set up before sending participants to the personal page.
Option 2: via the QR code widget
You can also show the QR code directly in an email.
How to add the QR code widget
Go to the Mail Module.
Open the draft using the pencil icon.
Scroll down and click "Add widget".
Choose "Check-in QR code widget".
This displays the QR code directly in the message. This is useful when participants want quick access without opening an attachment.
Option 3: resend the registration confirmation
You can also resend the full registration confirmation.
How to resend the registration confirmation
Go to the Registration Module.
Go to the "Registered" tab.
Optionally filter by a specific list.
Click "Send confirmation".
Check that the correct list and the correct number of people are selected.
Click "Resend confirmation" again to send the email.
Please note:
Always test the registration confirmation.
You can include the e-ticket as an attachment, or choose to send a link to the personal page or a QR code directly in the email.
