What is an e-ticket and how do you use it?
An e-ticket is a personalized access pass with a unique QR code. As an organizer, you scan this QR code at the entrance to quickly and easily check in your attendees. Read more about checking in visitors to your event.
The e-ticket is automatically sent with the registration confirmation, unless you have disabled this option.
Activating or deactivating the e-ticket
You manage the e-ticket through the Mail Module:
Go to Registration Confirmation.
Scroll down to "E-ticket".
Choose "Yes" (activate) or "No" (deactivate).
After registering for the event, attendees will automatically receive their e-ticket via email.
Layout and use as a badge
The e-ticket is designed so it can be folded into a convenient name badge. You can fully customize the e-ticket, from text and logos to additional information for your attendees. Read more on designing and personalizing your e-ticket.
Can I resend the e-ticket as a reminder?
Yes, there are three ways to do this.
Option 1 – Via the Personal Page
Add a button in your email linking to the Personal Page. Here, the attendee can access:
Pre-filled registration information, which can be updated or edited via the Personal Page.
A button to view and download the e-ticket (make sure the e-ticket is designed).
A personal QR code that can be scanned by the organizer to check the attendee in at the event.
A list of any guests, including their personal QR codes.
Invoice, if applicable.
A button to unsubscribe from the event.
How to add the Personal Page to your email:
Go to the Mail Module.
Open your email draft by clicking the pencil icon.
Scroll down and click “Add Widget”.
Select “Button”.
Configure the button as follows:
Link type: Link to event component
Select event page: Personal Page link
Option 2 – Using the QR Code Widget
You can also add the QR code directly in your email using the Check-in QR Code widget.
How to add it:
Go to the Mail Module.
Open your email draft by clicking the pencil icon.
Scroll down and click “Add Widget”.
Select “Check-in QR Code Widget”.
This makes the QR code visible directly in the email — convenient for quick access without an attachment.
Option 3 – Resend the registration confirmation
You can also resend the original registration confirmation:
Go to the Registration Module.
Open the “Registered” tab.
Optional: filter by a specific list of attendees.
Verify that the correct list and number of recipients is selected.
Click “Resend Confirmation” to send the registration confirmation again.
Please note:
Always test the registration confirmation before sending.
You can attach the e-ticket to this email, or use one of the two options above (Personal Page or QR code widget).
