On the Register page, you’ll find default texts that visitors see during the registration process. You can customize these texts to match your event.
You can find the registration texts via: Website Module → Pages → Register.
Here, you can edit texts for a successful registration, a closed registration, and when the maximum number of registrations has been reached.
Confirmation after registration
After a successful registration, you can display a message such as:
Thank you for your registration. A confirmation has just been sent to {{email}}. It may take a few minutes for the email to arrive. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder.
Tip: Use {{email}} in the text. Momice will automatically display the email address the visitor used to register.
Texts for when registration is no longer possible
Momice has two different registration texts for situations where a visitor can no longer register:
a text for when registration is closed
a text for when the maximum number of registrations has been reached
Which text is shown depends on your event settings.
Text for a closed registration
This text is used when registration for the event is closed.
You can view and edit this text via: Website Module → Pages → Register. Scroll down to the registration texts on the Register page.
Text for when the maximum number of registrations has been reached
Do you want to set a separate text for when the maximum number of registrations has been reached? First, set a maximum number of registrations.
Go to Settings Module → Basic.
Scroll down to Registration.
Enter the maximum number of registrations.
Then go to Website Module → Pages → Register.
Scroll down to the registration texts.
You’ll now also see the text that is used when the maximum number of registrations has been reached. You can edit this text as needed.
Please note: If you don’t actually have a registration limit but still want this registration text to be available, enter a sufficiently high maximum number that you don’t expect to reach during your event.
Formal or informal tone of voice
The default registration texts automatically use the formal or informal tone of voice configured for your event.
You can find this setting via: Settings Module → Basic → Language.
Please note when changing the tone of voice
If you change the tone of voice from formal to informal, or vice versa, while setting up your event, keep the following in mind:
Existing website and email texts are not updated automatically.
Only new email texts are automatically created using the new tone of voice.
Always review existing texts manually after changing the tone of voice.
