A QR code is automatically created for each event. This QR code links to the homepage of your event website.
You can use this QR code to help visitors access your event website quickly, for example on a name badge or at the registration desk.
Where can you find the QR code?
You can find the QR code in Website Module > Settings > QR code.
From there, you can also easily download the QR code as a PNG file.
What can you use the QR code for?
You can use the QR code in different ways, for example:
on name badges
at the registration desk
in printed materials or event communications
This makes it easy for visitors to go directly to the event website.
Show the QR code on the homepage
You can also display the QR code on the homepage of your event website by using a widget.
Follow these steps:
Go to the Website Module.
Click "Pages".
Select "Homepage".
Click "Add widget".
Choose the QR code widget.
Add the correct website link.
Please note
The QR code for your event website is not the same as the QR code on a visitor’s e-ticket.
An e-ticket contains a personal QR code. This code is used to check in visitors.
