Did you know that, on average, 60% to 85% of CO₂ emissions related to events are caused by transportation?
With the Slinger widget, your event visitors can easily offer a ride or join one. This helps encourage carpooling and reduces CO₂ emissions around your event.
Please note: Requesting and setting up the Slinger widget is done through Slinger. In Momice, you only add the final widget code to your event website.
Before you start
Make sure you have fully created the widget in Slinger first. Only then can you add the widget to your Homepage in Momice.
Step 1: Create your widget in Slinger
Go to the Slinger widget composer.
Start creating a new widget.
Enter your email address and click "Save".
Check the widget settings.
Check the event settings.
Add extra event days if needed.
Go to "Subscription" and choose the correct subscription type.
Then copy the widget code from the integration section in Slinger.
Step 2: Add the widget to your Homepage in Momice
Log in to your Momice account.
Go to the Website Module (Pages).
Select "Homepage".
Click "Add widget".
Choose "Custom HTML / CSS".
Paste the Slinger widget code into the HTML field.
Click "Add".
Step 3: Check whether the widget works correctly
Open the Homepage of your event website in a desktop browser and check whether the Slinger widget is displayed correctly.
Tip
After pasting the code, always check whether the widget is clearly visible and loads correctly on the page.
