Set up session feedback

Read everything in this article about session feedback that you can show to your invitees after your livestream.

Session feedback is a paid feature. This feature is only available if you have purchased an event upgrade or the Interaction Module account add-on.

What is session feedback?

With session feedback, you can ask visitors to rate an online program session.

When a participant leaves a livestream or moves on to the next livestream, a full-screen rating prompt appears. The participant can give a rating from 1 to 5 stars.

The results of these ratings are shown per program session in the Interaction Module.

Requirements

Session feedback only works under the following conditions:

  • The program session takes place online.

  • You are using an embedded livestream.

  • The livestream link has been added to the program session.

Please note: session feedback does not work if participants are redirected to an external application, such as MS Teams or Zoom.

Enable session feedback

Follow these steps to enable session feedback:

  1. Go to Website Module > Pages > Program page.

  2. Create a new program session, or open an existing program session using the pencil icon.

  3. Indicate that this program session takes place online.

  4. Enter the livestream link from the video streaming platform.

  5. Go to the second tab: Livestream.

  6. Enable the "Session feedback" option.

What does the visitor see?

Visitors can rate a session as soon as they leave it. This happens in the following situations:

  • when the session has ended and they move on to the next online session

  • when they click the "Back" button themselves to return to the program

Because visitors can rate the session right away, the threshold to respond is low. As a result, the response rate is often higher.

Where can you find the results?

You can find the session feedback results in the Interaction Module. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Interaction Module.

  2. Choose the program session.

  3. Select a workshop session.

  4. Click "Results".

  5. View the feedback for each session.

Use the dropdown menu on the left to switch between sessions. This allows you to see the rating visitors gave for each program session.
