With advanced website analytics in Momice, you can measure how your event website is performing. This gives you insight into metrics such as visitor numbers, time on page, and conversions per page.
When should you use this feature?
This feature is intended for marketers who use an external analytics tool, such as Google Analytics.
To collect data, add a JavaScript code snippet from your analytics tool in Momice. Without this code, no data will be tracked.
What can you measure?
Once the JavaScript code has been added, your analytics tool will show data for:
the entire event website
specific pages within the event website
This can give you insight into:
visitor numbers
time on page
bounce rates
traffic flow within the website
How are pages displayed?
Specific Momice event pages are not always shown in the analytics tool by page name. Instead, they may appear as a number.
You can check for yourself which number corresponds to which event page.
Please note:
Momice event websites cannot display a cookie wall. Because of this, you may only use this feature to track anonymous cookies. The settings for this are managed in your analytics tool.
Retargeting is not possible. Momice does not collect personal data through the event website that can be used for this purpose.
Tracking registrations and payments
Do you want to track registrations or payments? If so, use the URLs below in your analytics tool.
Important URLs
Completed registration
The visitor lands on:/registration/completePayment started
The visitor lands on:/paymentCompleted payment
The visitor lands on:/purchase/complete
Please note: a visitor may also land on /purchase/complete if a payment fails, for example due to insufficient funds or an expired credit card. Do not use this URL without additional verification as final proof of a successful payment.
Retargeting and trend analysis
In your analytics tool, you will mainly see trends in visitor behavior. For example, this allows you to see:
which pages are visited most often
where visitors drop off
how many visitors move from the registration page to completing a registration
These insights help you further optimize your event website.
