You can offer extra paid options with a paid entry ticket, such as a workshop, dinner, or other activity. You can add these options using a closed-ended question or workshop question on the registration form.
The price of the entry ticket and the selected paid options are displayed together in the payment overview.
Please note: You can only offer extra paid options in combination with a paid entry ticket. You cannot add paid options to a free entry ticket.
Setting up extra paid options
Go to Website Module → Pages → Registration.
Add a closed-ended question or workshop question.
Enter the question and answer options.
If needed, set a maximum number of available spots for each answer option.
Open the Price tab.
Enter the price for each paid answer option.
Set the correct VAT rate for each paid answer option.
Click Save.
Then check the registration form to make sure the options and amounts are displayed correctly.
Setting the VAT rate for a paid option
You can set a separate VAT rate for each paid option. This rate can differ from the VAT rate of the entry ticket. This allows different VAT rates to be applied within a single purchase.
Your organization is responsible for setting the correct VAT rate. If you're unsure, consult your finance department.
Please note: You cannot change the VAT rate after the first payment has been made. This also applies if the first payment is a test payment. Make sure to check the VAT rates before making a payment.
Displaying options and prices
During registration, participants can see their selected paid options and the corresponding amounts in the payment overview. These are included in the total amount along with the entry ticket.
Good to know:
Use a maximum of 90 characters per answer option to ensure the text and price remain clearly visible.
The prices of the answer options are not displayed in the Registration Module or the registration export.
Check before selling tickets
Before opening registration, check:
The prices of the paid options
The configured VAT rates
Any maximum number of available spots per answer option
The final total amount for the entry ticket and selected options
This ensures that participants see the correct options and amounts during registration.
