When you duplicate an event, Momice copies the settings and content from the original event.
Therefore, check all sections before you:
activate the event
invite attendees
send emails
start the registration
Use the checklist below to prevent information from the previous event from remaining visible.
1. Check the event settings
Open the Settings Module > Basic and review all settings. Check:
Event name
Event date
Registration period
Event website URL
Event language
Registration type: personal or open registration
2. Check the website
Review all pages of the event website.

Open the Registration page and review all registration questions.
Are all questions still relevant?
Are the answer options correct?
Are required questions configured correctly?
Are there any references to the previous event?
3. Check the access tickets
Go to Ticket Module > Entry tickets and review each ticket individually by clicking the pencil icon.
For each entry ticket, check:
whether any old lists are still linked
whether the correct registration questions are linked
whether all settings still apply
Then open the "Advanced" tab and review all date- and time-related settings. Pay particular attention to:
Registration possible during this period
Time slot for scanning tickets
Valid through (optional)
4. Check the e-ticket
Go to Ticket Module > E-ticket and verify that all information is up to date.

Additional text and instructions
Please note: Is the e-ticket attached to the registration confirmation? Make sure the correct e-ticket is included.
Tip: Do you only use the QR code in the registration confirmation and not send a separate e-ticket? You can skip this step.
5. Check the emails
Open all draft emails and registration confirmations. For each email, check:
Subject line
Dates and times
Text
Buttons and links
Images and attachments
6. Perform a final check
Go through the entire event as if you were an attendee.
Send the invitation as a test email
Review the event website
Complete the registration form
Open the registration confirmation
Test all buttons and links
Check the e-ticket or QR code
Review the event on both desktop and mobile
Tip: Use your own email address for a test registration. This lets you see exactly what information an attendee receives.
Only activate the event using the "Activate Event" button and send invitations after you have reviewed all sections.
