In every Momice Basic License, 5 user accounts are included. One of these users is the Admin. This is usually the main user of the account.
The Admin can manage users, view license details, and change the owner of an event.
What can the Admin do?
As an Admin, you can:
view your license details
see how many credits are available
see how many users are active
add new users
deactivate users
add observers to the account
view existing users and change their roles
change the owner of an event
What roles are available?
User with an Event License
A user with an Event License can:
have a user account with the role of Administrator, Event Manager, Producer, or Observer
create their own event in the dashboard
Observer
An Observer can only be added to events as an observer. An Observer can:
view the Registration Module
change registration details
check guests in or out
register lists or mark them as present
view registration insights
An Observer cannot:
create exports
import lists
create events themselves
Managing users
Follow these steps to manage users:
Log in to Momice.
Click "Settings" in the dashboard. Here you will immediately see the start and end date of your license, the number of available credits, and the number of users.
Then click "Users". Here you will see all current users and each user’s status, such as active, inactive, or invited.
Click on a user to view that person’s events, assign a different owner to existing events, or deactivate the user.
Please note: Do you want to change a user account from Observer to Event License? First turn off Observer, then turn on Event License. This is only possible if there is still a license available.
Changing the owner of an event
You can change the owner of a published event. This is useful, for example, if a user is temporarily unavailable.
Follow these steps:
Log in to Momice.
Go to "Settings" in the dashboard.
Click "Users" in the left-hand menu.
Click the pencil icon next to the user who is currently the owner of the event.
Open the "Events" tab.
Click the icon with the two crossing arrows next to the correct event.
Select the new owner.
Click "Edit".
Please note: You cannot change the owner if the event is in the archive. In that case, contact [email protected].
