Tips for handling personal data and privacy

Learn how to handle personal data, privacy, unsubscribe options, and secure data processing in Momice.

At Momice, we believe it is important to handle personal data with care. That is why we store and protect data as securely as possible and only for as long as necessary.

Please note: as a user, you are also responsible for handling personal data carefully. Please follow the guidelines below.

1. Import only lawfully obtained lists

Only import contact lists that you have obtained lawfully.

The people on these lists must have given permission to receive emails from you, for example through an opt-in.

2. Always include the unsubscribe link

All emails include an unsubscribe link by default. Make sure invitees can unsubscribe at any time from:

  • the event

  • future communications

This is important for clear and transparent communication.

3. Only collect relevant registration data

Only ask for information in the registration form that is necessary for the event, such as:

  • name

  • email address

  • company

  • job title

  • dietary requirements

  • workshop selection

Please note: Momice is not intended for processing special or sensitive personal data, such as:

  • passport details

  • payment details

  • social security numbers

  • other sensitive identification data

Do not collect this type of information through Momice.

4. Data processing and storage

Data submitted through Momice event websites is encrypted and transmitted via an SSL certificate.

After the event, personal data remains stored on our servers for a maximum of 30 days. After that, the data is automatically anonymized.

Our servers are located in Frankfurt, Germany. The data is processed in accordance with applicable EU guidelines.

5. Data security

We do everything we can to keep your data secure.
