Your event can have the following statuses:
Edit
Live
Offline
Edit
When you create an event, it is automatically given the status edit.
At this stage, your event has not been activated yet. You can still continue building and editing the event.
Important
The event website for your invitees is already live at this stage. This means your event website does not only become visible once you click "Activate event".
Live
As soon as you click "Activate event", your event status changes to live. From that moment, two things happen:
You can send your mailings
The 30-second pop-up disappears from the event website
Activating your event affects these functions, but not the visibility of your event website for invitees.
Offline
Your event stays live until 30 days after the event end date. After that, the event is automatically archived and its status changes to offline.
You can find all events with the status offline in your dashboard under "Folders" and "Archive".
Tip: Want to check what your invitees see? Open your event website before activating the event. This lets you confirm that all information is correct in advance. Open your event website via Website Module > Pages > Desktop preview.
